Shoving a bunch of animations, a vibe coded mess. You don’t need to try too hard with portfolios. They only need to be readable.</p>

<h2 id="keep-it-static">Keep it static</h2>

<p>It’s so common to see random animations in portfolios, usually ones that only hurt readability or draw your attention to something that doesn’t matter. Avoid using animations at all costs. You probably don’t need them anyways.</p>

<p>Keeping it static with no moving parts keeps it readable, and as a bonus your portfolio loads faster.</p>

<p>Don’t waste time on the unnecessary. You need to get your name, where you’re based from, your experience and how to contact you. That doesn’t mean that you should make <a href="https://motherfuckingwebsite.com/">motherfuckingwebsite.com 2: portfolio edition</a>, it still needs to be readable.</p>
